Majorna
Majorna
Majorna - a beanie inspired by the typical houses in one of the oldest districts of Gothenburg.
The hat combines the clean look of the brim worked in stockinette stitch, with body worked in brioche pattern and symmetrical crown decreases.
Majorna beanie is worked in the round, in one piece. The brim consists of three layers. First you will work the middle layer (stockinette stitch, yarn A), then you will work the outer layer (stockinette stitch, yarn A & B held together). The folded brim is created by knitting the stitches together with the cast-on edge. The inner layer of the brim is worked in ribbing. The body of the hat is worked in brioche with yarn C & D held together. Decreases are worked using DPNs or Magic Loop.
SIZES: 1, (2, 3, 4). To fit head circumference: 55–56, (57–58, 59–60, 61–62) cm.
