SUGGESTED NEEDLES
Stockinette stitch: 4.5 mm (US7) circular needles 100–120 cm for the body and a set of DPNs (or Magic loop) for the sleeves – or a needle size that gives the correct gauge.
Ribbing: 4 mm (US6) circular needles 100–120 cm and a set of DPNs (or Magic loop) – or a needle that is 0.5 mm smaller than the gauge needle.

CONSTRUCTION
Granit cardigan is worked in stockinette stitch with ribbed trims. The cardigan is worked top down in one piece, with curved V-neck and raglan lines. The body is worked flat. After the yoke shaping is finished, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold and the body is worked straight to the hem. The button band, with one-row buttonholes, is worked after completion of the body. The sleeves are then worked in the round.
