Bonnie mitts

Bonnie mitts are worked in the round, seamlessly from the bottom up, in stockinette stitch. The increases are worked along the life line on the palm. 

SIZES: 1, (2, 3). To fit palm circumference, approx.: 18, (19, 20) cm.
Finished circumferences: Cuff: 15.3, (16.1, 16.9) cm, palm: 16.9, (17.6, 18.4) cm, thumb: 6.1, (6.5, 6.9) cm.
Length: 18, (18.5, 19) cm.

GAUGE: 26 sts x 35 rows = 10 cm worked in the round in stockinette stitch.

YARN
Mohair version: KFO Pure Silk (250m/50g, col. Raspberry pink): 1 skein,
held together with KFO Soft Silk Mohair (225m/25g, col. Flamingo): 1 skein.
Wool version: Rauma Finull (175m/50g, col. 4133), held single: 1 skein.
Or approx. 110, (120, 130) metres of similar yarn/yarns, that gives the gauge.

YARN ALTERNATIVES
Held double (one strand of Yarn 1 + one strand of Yarn 2):

Yarn 1 – KFO Merino / Sandnes Sunday / Rauma Lammullgarn / Isager Alpaca 2 held together with Yarn 2 – any silk mohair (or similar) with approx. 220m/25g.

Held single: 
Hillesvåg Vilje / Filcolana Pernilla / Istex Kambgarn / The Fibre Co. Cumbria fingering.



SUGGESTED NEEDLES: 2.5 mm (US1.5) circular needles 80–120 cm for Magic loop, or a set of double pointed needles – or a needle size that gives the gauge.
