Filur - a doll cardigan (shown on Rubens Barn EcoBuds).
The cardigan fits a doll that is approx. 35 cm tall, with approx. 23 cm body circumference and approx. 6 cm arm circumference.
19 sts & 26 rows = 10 cm worked flat in stockinette stitch, after blocking.
Approx. 25 g of a worsted weight yarn (approx. 200m/100g), such as Filcolana Peruvian, Istex Léttlopi, Sandnes Smart, Hjelholts Håndværksgarn, De Rerum Natura Gilliatt, or any other yarn that knits up to the gauge.
4.5 mm (US7) circular needles 60–80 cm and a set of DPNs (or Magic Loop).
Stitch markers, stitch holders, tapestry needle, 3 buttons (approx. ø 2 cm).
Filur cardigan is worked top down in one piece, with raglan increases. The button bands and the buttonholes are worked at the same time. After the raglan increases are completed, the sleeve stitches are placed on holders and the body is worked straight in stockinette stitch with garter stitch edges. The sleeves are worked in the round, using Magic Loop or DPNs.
